When you edit a transaction, you can make changes to the transaction date, name, and category. You can also split the transaction, add a tag, add notes, and mark the transaction as a duplicate. Here’s how.
Mint mobile app
- Open the app and scroll down to Recent Transactions. Select see all.
- Select the transaction you’d like to edit.
- Tap on the detail you’d like to change.
- Make the changes you want. Your changes are automatically saved.
Mint web
- Sign in to Mint.com and select Transactions from the side menu
- Find the transaction you’d like to change and select Edit next to it
- Make the changes you want and select Save
- You can also edit multiple transactions at once by selecting the check box to the left of the desired transactions, then selecting Edit multiple near the top of the page
