How do I edit a budget?

Select your Mint experience below for instructions on how to adjust your budget for the current month. (You can’t edit past budgets for previous months—you can only view them.)

  1. Open the app and select Monthly from the bottom menu
  2. Select this month’s budget
  3. Select Expenses
  4. Select the pencil icon next to the budget category you’d like to change
  5. Enter the new budget amount
  6. Select Update
  1. Sign in to Mint.com and select Budgets from the side menu
  2. Hover over the budget category you’d like to change and select Edit
  3. From here, you can change the budget amount and frequency
  4. After making your adjustments, select Save
