How do I set up my income in Mint?

Once you’ve added your bank accounts to Mint, you can track your income by categorizing your income transactions.

You can categorize your income as Income, add your own income subcategory, or choose from one of seven preexisting income subcategories: 

  • Bonus
  • Interest Income
  • Paycheck
  • Reimbursement
  • Rental Income 
  • Returned Purchase

To organize and track your income, change the category for each of your income transactions.

You can also set up an income budget to forecast your monthly earnings.
