Follow the below instructions to change your account from inactive to active.
Sometimes, Mint will mark your account as inactive for you for a handful of reasons. In these cases, you may not have the option to switch your account back to active. Instead, you'll need to re-add your account.
Mint mobile app
- Open the Mint app and select the gear icon in the top corner.
- Select Accounts and then tap the desired financial institution.
- Tap the pencil icon next to the account you’d like to activate.
- Select the drop-down menu under Status, and select Active. If you don't see Status, you'll need to re-add your account.
- Scroll and select Done.
Mint web
- Sign in to Mint.com and select Settings from the side menu
- Select the account you’d like to activate
- Under Status, select Active from the drop-down menu. If you don't see Status, you'll need to re-add your account
- Select Save
