How do I add my home's Zillow info to my Mint account?

SOLVEDby TurboTax138Updated almost 2 years ago

You might not be able to find and add your home to your Mint account. Here are the main reasons:

  • You live in a non-disclosure state (Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming), which means home prices aren’t public information
  • Your local government hasn’t updated their records, which are a main source of info for Zillow. This can affect new homes in particular

If your property can’t be found, or the value doesn’t match what’s on Zillow.com, the best thing to do is to wait and try to connect your property later.

If you live in a non-disclosure state, or don’t want to wait to add your property, you can add it manually, as long as you know its value. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to mint.com
  2. Select +Add Accounts
  3. Select +Add a property
  4. Select Real estate, then Continue
  5. Select Enter manually
  6. Enter the estimated value of your property and select Add it
