How do I add a transaction tag?

You can add tags to your transactions to better label and understand your spending. Select your Mint experience to learn how to use them.

  1. Open the app, scroll down to Recent transactions, and select see all
  2. Tap on the desired transaction
  3. Select Add tags
  4. Select any of the listed tags
    • If you're on an iOS device, you can create your own by selecting +Add
  5. Select Save
  1. Sign in to mint.com and select Transactions
  2. Select Edit next to the desired transaction
  3. In the Tags section, you can add any of the suggested tags from the menu, or create your own by selecting Manage tags, then Edit, then Add tag
  4. Once you've added the correct tag, select Save
  5. You can view all your transactions with a specific tag by selecting Filters at the top of the Transactions page, then selecting the tag you want to view. Select Apply to view the transactions
