How do I delete transactions?

You can only delete pending and manually entered transactions. For the rest of your transactions, you can hide them so they don’t get calculated in your budgets and trends. Here’s how.

From Mint.com:

  1. Sign in to Mint and select Transactions near the top of the page.
  2. Choose the transaction you’d like to hide or delete and select EDIT DETAILS.
  3. If the transaction is pending or was manually added, you can select Delete this transaction in the bottom left corner.
  4. If the transaction was automatically added, use the arrows that appear next to the category name to find and select Hide from Budget & Trends.
  5. Your changes are automatically saved.

From the Mint app:

  1. Open the Mint app and scroll down until you see Recent Transactions. Select See all.
  2. Select the transaction you’d like to hide or delete.
  3. If the transaction is pending or was manually added, you can select the trash can icon in the top right corner.
  4. If the transaction was automatically added, select its category.
  5. Find and select Hide from Budget & Trends.
  6. Your changes are automatically saved.

You can also mark a transaction as a duplicate and hide it. Go here to learn how.
