How can I hide a duplicate transaction?

To mark a transaction as a duplicate:

  1. Sign in to Mint.com on your web browser. This can’t be done in the mobile app.
  2. Select Transactions from the gray bar at the top of the page.
  3. Choose the transaction you wish to mark as a duplicate.
  4. Select Edit Details and then check the box that states This is a duplicate.
  5. Select I'm Done to save.

You can also mark multiple transactions as duplicates at once:

  1. Check the box next to each transaction you'd like to mark as a duplicate.
  2. Select Edit Multiple at the top of the page.
  3. Check the box that states This is a duplicate.
  4. Select I'm Done to save.

The transaction will still appear in your transactions list, but it will be grayed out.

To completely hide duplicate transactions:

  1. Select the gear icon at the top right of the transaction list.
  2. Select Hide duplicate transactions.

If you think you have duplicate accounts that are creating duplicate transactions, you can hide the account or mark it as inactive.
