How can I delete a linked financial institution?

Go here if you're looking to delete your entire Mint account.

If you delete a financial institution, it’ll permanently delete every sub-account and all its data, including all transactions. This can’t be reversed. If you want to keep your transaction history, either hide the individual accounts or mark them as inactive.

From the Mint app:

  1. Open the Mint app and select the gear icon in the top corner.
  2. Select Accounts and then tap the financial institution you’d like to delete.
  3. If you're on an Android device, select the three dots in the top corner, then Delete Account. Skip to step 5.
  4. If you're on an iOS device, select Delete Account in the bottom right corner.
  5. Select Delete or Yes, Delete.
  6. You'll no longer see your transactions from this account.

  1. Sign in to Mint and select Settings from the black bar at the top of the page.
  2. Choose the financial institution you want to delete and select the gear icon.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Enter DELETE into the field and select Delete.

If you want to delete some, but not all, of your accounts with your bank, you can hide the individual accounts or mark them as inactive.
