How can I delete a linked financial institution?

SOLVEDby TurboTax1625Updated almost 2 years ago

If you delete a financial institution, it’ll permanently delete every sub-account and all its data, including all transactions. This can’t be reversed.

If you want to keep your transaction history, or if you want to delete some of your accounts with your bank, either hide the individual accounts or mark them as inactive.

To delete an entire bank, select your Mint experience and follow the instructions.

  1. Open the Mint app and select the Settings gear icon
  2. Select Accounts and then tap the financial institution you’d like to delete
  3. If you're on an iOS device, select Delete Account
    1. If you're on an Android device, select the three dots in the top corner, then Delete Account
  4. Select Delete or Yes, Delete
  5. You'll no longer see your transactions from this account
  1. Sign in to Mint and select Settings
  2. Choose the financial institution you want to delete and select its gear icon
  3. Select Delete
  4. Enter DELETE into the field and select Delete
