How do I add a manual account in Mint?

Go here to add real estate ownership to your Mint account.

You can track your land ownership, vehicles, debts, assets, or other properties without linking them to a financial institution.

This can’t be done in the app.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to Mint.com.
  2. Select +Add Accounts from the black bar at the top of the page.
  3. Select +Add a property for real estate, vehicles, cash or debt, or anything else you'd like to track. Or you can select +Add an offline bill for loans, rent, day care, or any other offline bills you may have.
  4. Fill out the requested information and select Save.

If you want to add an offline bank account for retirement, savings, or any other situation, do this:

  1. Sign in to Mint.com.
  2. Select +Add Accounts from the black bar at the top of the page.
  3. Select +Add a property.
  4. Select Cash or Debt.
  5. Select Cash from the drop-down menu, then select Next.
  6. Enter the details of your account and select Add it.

Mint can’t automatically update the value of a manually added property, so be sure to make any changes yourself.
