I got a confirmation code but never asked for it

This was likely the result of someone mistyping their own User ID or E-mail address when attempting to gain access to their own account.

Our password reset process asks for either User ID or Email address as its first step, this can allow for customers to inadvertently type a user id or email address that is similar to their own or one they believe is their own.

Once the login information is entered, as part of the next step, a request is sent to the email address attached to the account. Since the email went to you and not the person trying to login, they were not able to complete the login process.

If you feel that someone is trying to hack your account, we would suggest that you reset your password and create a more secure one which consists of a combination of Alphanumeric and special characters.
