How do I delete my Mint data?

We want to make sure that you can manage your data safely and easily. No matter which Intuit services or offerings you use, you can manage all of your data in your Intuit Account.

What should I expect?

Once you submit a request to delete data, there's a 72-hour window during which you can cancel the process in your Intuit Account. After the window, you'll no longer be able to cancel the request, and we're unable to retrieve your data.

You’ll need to know your password to complete your delete request. Forgot it? Go here.

What do I need to do?

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account here.
  2. Select Data privacy or Privacy.
  3. Continue through the screens, select to delete only your Mint account (so your TurboTax data isn't affected), and answer our questions until you get to the Send your request screen.
  4. Enter your Mint password and select Delete this data. All the data in your Mint account will be deleted.

What if I need more help?

Select Chat at the bottom of this page. We're open from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM PT 7 days a week. If you can’t see the chat button, we're either closed or our agents are at capacity. Please try again later.
